When Barack Obama expressed understanding of the views of hunters by saying he goes skeet shooting at Camp David “all the time,” conservatives expressed skepticism and demanded to see a picture. The White House released the above picture taken by Obama’s official photographer Pete Souza on August. 4, 2012.
David Plouffe tweeted: “Attn skeet birthers. Make our day – let the photoshop conspiracies begin!”
If many conservatives continued to deny that Obama was born in the United States after his birth certificate was released, why should they believe this? One picture doesn’t prove that Obama does this all the time. After all, he has been known to eat and sleep, among other activities keeping him from skeet shooting 24/7. Do we really know that this was taken at Camp David and not in Kenya, where he was born?
